Allied Seals has nearly every cable size available in its standard aluminum-body seals.  The cable diameters are 1.0 mm, 1.2 mm, 1.5 mm, 1.8 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.5 mm, 3.0 mm, 3.5 mm, 4.0 mm, and 5.0 mm.  These seals are available in different anodized colors (black, red, blue, green, and gold).

Cables can be made to any length, and all are NPC (non-preformed), galvanized aircraft cable, so they will immediately splay when cut, and cannot be re-inserted.  Stainless steel cables are available upon request.

We also have many cable seals with hard plastic bodies, or hard covers over standard aluminum cable seals.  This provides an extra level of customization and tamper-evidence.  These models are indicated by a "P" in the designation (FG150P, etc.).

The model numbers indicate the cable size:  FG150A, FG300A, FG500A, etc.  Below are the most widely used cable sizes.

The FG250A is another of our most popular cable seals.  

  • 2.5 mm (3/32") cable offers serious resistance (see table below).

  • The body of the seal is anodized aluminum, with a steel locking mechanism.

  • Colors available are black, blue, green, red, and gold.

  • Precise laser printing ensures perfect readability of all markings, including barcodes.

  • This seal is a favorite on trucks and railcars throughout North America.

The FG300A is one of our toughest seals, the next step up from the FG250A.

  • 3.0mm (slightly less than 1/8") cable is one of our most popular sizes.

  • The body of the seal is anodized aluminum, with a steel locking mechanism.

  • Colors available are black, blue, green, red, and gold.

  • Precise laser printing ensures perfect readability of all markings, including barcodes.

  • This seal is used on trucks and railcars throughout North America.

FG350A High Security cable seal

This is one of the newer additions to the cable seal family.  

  • This 3.5 mm (slightly over 1/8") size cable is where the resistance of the cable with a good locking mechanism reaches easily into the High Security classification, according to the ISO 17712 standard. That makes this seal an excellent and economical choice for C-TPAT compliant shipping.  

  • The same anodized aluminum body, laser printing, and choice of colors are available here.  

  • There will always be an "H" printed on the seal, to indicate its classification.

FG500A/AR High Security cable seal

The FG500A is the beast of the High Security cable seals.

  • 5.0mm (3/16") and steel locking mechanism make this the real heavy-duty cable seal.

  • The seal is available in the standard version, and a long-cable "reverse-entry" version (FG500AR...see photos on the left and the right).

  • This is the most popular seal for those who want the maximum protection a seal can offer.  

  • With the long-cable version, you can wrap the cable around the locking bars of the container before inserting into the seal.  The reverse-entry feature allows the body of the seal to sit up in the best position for reading (see picture on right)

  • All color and printing options are the same as for the other "A" type seals

FG350P High Security cable seal

This model provides an extra layer of protection against damage and tampering with a high strength plastic cover over the standard FG350A seal inside.  

  • 3.5mm cable and steel locking mechanism put this seal solidly in the High Security category

  • In addition to extra resistance, you get a further possibility for customization, since the plastic shell can be colored as well.  

  • All color and printing options are the same as on the FG350A and other "A" cable seals.

FG150A cable seal

The FG150A is one of the real workhorses in our cable seal line.  

  • 1.5mm (1/16") diameter cable which can be cut to any length.  

  • Laser printing allows for precise, easy to read printing.  

  • Standard packaging is 500 per box, but size and weight of boxes depend on the cable length.  

  • These seals are used on everything from tote boxes to trucks.

  • The body of the seal is anodized aluminum with a steel locking mecanism.

  • Colors available are black, blue, green, red, and gold.

The FG150P is another of our most popular cable seals.  

  • 1.5 mm (1/16") cable , same as on the FG150A

  • The body of the seal is hard ABS plastic and the locking mechanism is steel. 

  • The colors available are yellow, white, blue, green, red, and orange.  

  • Precise laser printing ensures perfect readability of all markings, including barcodes.

  • This seal is widely used on totes, drums, and trucks throughout the country.
